Te Veo—
I See You

For the past fourteen years, Project I See You has been working with women in the Dominican Republic to create new opportunities for education and employment.

Our Impact

With classes on topics such as cooking and baking, furniture making, cleaning and refrigeration, and learning English, students who graduate from classes create a positive ripple effect for not only themselves, but their families and community as a whole.

In 2016, we began to build Phase I of Centro Te Veo, a community center that provides educational classes, training, and access to food and medicine.

In 2020, Phase II of Centro Te Veo’s was completed, adding a second floor to the building to serve as an emergency shelter and house teams visiting the DR.

In 2022, Proyecto Te Veo became a legal foundation in the Dominican Republic. Centro Te Veo continues to be a launching pad for empowering more women in neighboring communities, including Haiti.

Immersion Trips

Join us as we travel to La Canita in the Dominican Republic to continue our work at Centro Te Veo. During these trips, we immerse ourselves in the Dominican culture, discovering the history and exploring vibrant communities.

Support women and their communities by helping with construction, making and serving meals, and visiting the local prison, nursing home, or home for orphaned girls.

It was a blessing to see so much love poured out on the sisters here in this house.

The connection that I feel to people in the community is unbelievable. Feels like family.

The impact the group has made on my life is immeasurable.

I received healthy support at a time when I had many struggles I was dealing with. It has been a long time since I have felt like I was a part of a community. Not that someone was taking pity on my life or situation, but rather that someone was empowering me to see my own light.
